How to Use SanDisk SecureAccess for Mac
SanDisk SecureAccess is a free application that allows you to create a password-protected vault on your SanDisk USB flash drive. You can store your sensitive and critical files in the vault and access them only with your personal password. The files are also encrypted automatically, so even if you lose your flash drive or someone else tries to access it, your data will be safe.

Download and Install SanDisk SecureAccess for Mac
To use SanDisk SecureAccess for Mac, you need to have a SanDisk USB flash drive that is formatted in FAT32 or exFAT file system. You also need to have a Mac computer running OS X 10.7 or later.
Follow these steps to download and install SanDisk SecureAccess for Mac:
Go to this page and click on the Download for Mac link under SecureAccess V3.02 Application for PC and Mac section.
Save the file (SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac_6.0.3.pkg) directly to your SanDisk USB flash drive.
Double-click on the file to run the installation.
Click Continue on the Welcome screen.
Select your flash drive as the destination and click Continue.
Click Install and enter your Mac username and password if prompted.
Click Close when the installation is complete.
Set Up Your Private Vault
After installing SanDisk SecureAccess for Mac, you need to set up your private vault where you can store your files securely. Follow these steps to do so:
Go to your flash drive and double-click on SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac.
Click Next on the Welcome screen.
Read and accept the license terms by clicking on the checkbox and then click Next.
Choose one of the four ways to protect your files: password only, password and hint, password and email, or password, hint and email. Click Next.
Enter a strong personal password for your vault and click OK. Note: You cannot reset your password if you forget it, so make sure you remember it or write it down somewhere safe.
Your private vault is now ready for use. You will see a window with two tabs: My Vault and Backup & Restore.
Add Files or Folders to Your Private Vault
To add files or folders to your private vault, you can either drag and drop them from your Mac computer or use the Add Files button in the My Vault tab. Follow these steps to do so:
Open SanDisk SecureAccess by double-clicking on SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac on your flash drive.
Enter your password and click OK to access your vault.
To drag and drop files or folders, simply select them from your Mac computer and drag them over to the My Vault window. You can also create new folders in your vault by clicking on the New Folder button.
To use the Add Files button, click on it and browse for the files or folders you want to add. You can select multiple items by holding down the Command key while clicking on them. Click Open to add them to your vault.
You will see a progress bar showing the encryption process. Once it is done, you will see your files or folders in your vault with a lock icon next to them.
